Black Magic car wax is a product full of ironies and misrepresentations. I don't know of too many companies willing to label themselves as the # 1 rated car wax. With the right amount of advertising dollars anything can be sold and promoted to an ignorant and insatiable consumer base. Experience has shown the loudest voices are often guilty of the greatest levels of misrepresentation. Despite the merits of a free market system where companies and products must ultimately stand on merits of performance, money in the form of advertising and marketing can do much to overcompensate for lack of true performance qualities. Black Magic auto wax seems to survive despite its short-comings and the only thing I can attribute this to is advertising dollars, versus true performing abilities.

I am curious as to where they found someone to rate this car wax #1. Number one in frustration would certainly be appropriate! This product was difficult to apply compared to any number of the hundreds of other choices available, and even more difficult to remove. Much rubbing and rotating was required of me during the removal process. A further insult to the moment was the fact that I was using this on a very warm day with low humidity; generally speaking, these would be idyllic conditions when it comes to using car wax.

The fact that this product is called black magic is further insult to injury. Due to its name of Black Magic car wax, the suggestion is obvious as too its abilities when used to wax a black car; yet another of the many ironies and misrepresentations of this product.

I am further suspect of directions that instruct you to wait for it to haze up before removal when in fact the product never does haze up. The fact that there is no real dusting of this product during removal is the only real discernible benefit.
