Extreme Weather Problems: Regardless of the product, extreme weather temps will always have an impact on not only the ability to use a product, but how the product itself performs. Hot and cold temperature extremes are a big part of most people. Ever tried washing your car in the blazing sun at 100+ degrees? Or washing your car in freezing temperatures? Now with this no-mess, no rinse Optimum wash and wax, you can literally wash your car in a garage or in areas where traditional water use would make it impossible.

Darren's Professional Tips of Use:

Like every other product or tool; I develop my own unique application of use. So let me offer some of my own personal and professional tips of use.

• I use a single bucket with a half gallon of distilled water. According to the label, this means I need less than an ounce of the Optimum no rinse product to do an average size car.
• I use a micro-chenille wash mitt to use as my wash pad.
• I use a Chinchilla micro-fiber cloth to wipe and buff to perfection after I remove dirt with micro-chenille wash mitt.
• I start at the top and work my way around and down, one section at a time.
  
• I work one section of the car at a time. The hotter it is, or if I am in direct sunlight, the smaller the section becomes.
• I use distilled water as I am literally only using a half gallon for a normal size car. The water is very cheap, and it is the most pure water you can get in the event you are working in direct sunlight on hot paint; you will not have to worry about any spotting.

Chenille Wash Mitt

• Extra thick to absorb and wash dirt safely away from paint.
• Ideal for use with the no-rinse wash and wax from Optimum or any other no-rinse wash and wax.
• One of the true secrets to the success of waterless or no-rinse products in making the process so incredibly safe.

I use this black chenille wash mitt with the Optimum wash and wax to remove the dirt itself. It is represents the winning combination of size, softness, and safety towards your cars paint.

Just dip in the solution bucket, wring out excess No-Rinse solution, wipe away the dirt, buff with Chinchilla micro-fiber cloth for amazing results with no mess.

Simply rinse out wash mitt as needed in solution bucket and wring out excess solution each time you do a panel.

Chemical Guys Wash System

I realize this Chemical Guys wash system might seem like a bit of a contradiction to the Optimum No-rinse system as outlined above. The reality is that when using the Optimum no-rinse wash and wax you will need a bucket in which to mix the solution in.

While you could go out and shop for a separate wash bucket and get one very cheap, this kit also contains an essential tool for safe washing and that is a Grit Guard insert. It also contains a couple other products that can also be put to use:

• Use this supplied wash mitt to use on the wheels as they get especially dirty and you will not mucky up your nice chenille wash mitt reserved for your paint.
  
• If you decide to ever go the traditional route with a dedicated car wash soap; let's say when you happen to have an overly dirty car where you might be concerned that the dirt level is just too much for the unconventional no-rinse product from Optimum.
• This kit also contains added products you will also need, but may not be willing to purchase independently. (one of the reasons I love this car wash kit)
