Turtle Wax carnauba car wax has been around forever and a day; probably the most recognizable name when it comes to car waxes. Despite this brand having been around longer than myself, I have never actually met any professional detailer use any of the Turtle Wax products.

I personally never actually used this product growing up, even though I was very familiar with it. I had to find out first hand just what this product has to offer us, and see if there was much value to be had in this long established name of car waxes.

If you are looking for that "old school" feeling of waxing your car, then look no further. Complete with lots of work, sore shoulder, and that missing sense of accomplishment, this Turtle Wax is the ultimate in "I want to spend all day waxing my car, and have a really sore shoulder the following day because I don't know any better" car wax.

Sorry Turtle wax...but it is what it is, and I found this product easy to put on, but incredibly hard to remove.

This product is packaged like a traditional paste wax, but it is pretty soupy and really should be sold in a squeeze type dispenser, as it would be more appropriate. In fact, because of its consistency, it applies easier than the other true paste waxes, but that is where the redeeming benefits end with this product; as far as using it.

It does have excellent hiding and covering capabilities; once you have ruined your arm taking it off that is. Despite the difficulty in removal, you will be impressed with the end results; especially if you follow up with a spray detailer and are using on a black car with paint in superior condition.

As far as using Turtle Wax carnauba car wax in my auto detailing business; it would be completely unrealistic due to difficulty removing. If you are looking to simplify your life I suggest shopping from my personal list of favorites over in the right column.
